About me

Vitor is a multidisciplinary artist who has embraced the world of circus as a fundamental part of his identity since an early age. At just 6 years old, he discovered his passion for diabolos while watching the Cirque du Soleil La Nouba on DVD. Inspired by the show, he meticulously studied and practiced the art by analyzing the performance in slow motion and recreating the skills in his backyard.
Around the same age, Vitor began training in gymnastics and aerial circus disciplines under the guidance of Mara and Zilda Arali. These disciplines, along with his diabolo practice, became integral to his daily life for the next six years.
At 11, Vitor was invited to join Grupo Lígia Aydar, a renowned musical theater group in Brazil, as an artist and performer. Over the next two years, he was introduced to the world of musical theater, expanding his artistic repertoire to include ballet, contemporary dance, tap dance, singing, and acting. He performed in high-profile events and for major companies such as Iguatemi and Coca-Cola.

In 2018, Vitor’s journey took an international turn when he was accepted into the high school program at École nationale de cirque. At just 13, he moved to Montreal, Canada to live independently and pursue his dream of becoming a professional circus artist. Over seven years at the school, Vitor was coached by industry legends such as Domique Bouchard, Nicolas Fortin, Gabriel Beaudoin and Nicolas Boivin-Gravel. During this time, he had the opportunity to work alongside renowned directors like Edgar Zendejas and Shana Carroll. He also collaborated with esteemed companies and festivals, including Cirque du Soleil, Le Monastère, MONTRÉAL COMPLÈTEMENT CiRQUE, and the Alberta Circus Arts Festival. Now, in 2025, Vitor has completed his studies at École nationale de cirque with a one-of-a-kind diabolo act, developed with the help of Howard Richard, that showcases years of technical mastery and artistic exploration. An act pushes the boundaries of traditional diabolo performance. Specializing in Diabolo, Cyr wheel, Skipping rope and Boleadoras, Vitor brings innovation and originality to the stage. With his unique approach to act creation and his distinct artistic vision, Vitor is ready to captivate audiences around the world.
